Ants

Ants enter homes seeking food, moisture, and a refuge from extreme outdoor environmental conditions such as dry, hot conditions or flooding (such as from a hard rain). To help keep ants from entering indoors, install gaskets around electrical wall plates, seal window frames, and use waterproof silicone caulking to seal cracks in foundations and other entry points. Keep kitchens and other food storage areas clean. Food sources such as sugar and honey should be stored in sealed containers. Clean up grease spills and remove garbage daily. Indoor potted plants should be inspected, as they could be an indoor nesting site.
